He does tend to win the next Grand Tour after being crap/crashing in the previous one. Just saying...Whaaat? I was told in the Roglstomp thread that its quite likely he will beat Pogacar and Vingegaard at the Tour this year.

Stork delivers!Congratulations to Carlos Verona Quintanilla for winning the stage. The stars finally aligned for him. Lovely stuff.
Stork flies to second.
Wily old Giorgio Chiellini slips his way into 6th unnoticed, only 5 more.
[face palm]I’m the biggest Verona fanboy, but Trek has won 5 stages. It sucks that Ciccone crashed out, but I’d say their Giro has been successful already.
I cant recall how many breakaways I have seen Verona in and he was always so close but no cigar
So happy for him....This makes his career and makes all the work worth it
Plus a great win...from so far out
I knew it was in jest, just figured best place to mention Trek tickling the sponsors at every chance!![face palm]
I was on family visit from Grappa and onwards. I'm sad for RoglaBummer, your TV gave up on you? Sounded like it was running on hamster power (or Roglic power)...
I dozed off for a few hours and once I woke up I saw Rogla doing very poorly... must be age and he's probably sore from his crashes.![]()
I am looking forward to your positive "rants" in favor of del Toro later today.I knew it was in jest, just figured best place to mention Trek tickling the sponsors at every chance!!
Double face palm!!! I deserve one!!
Unless they stick with the "Nurse Ayuso" strategy. Disagree on Carapaz. There's very little to suggest from the likes of Yates, Carapaz and Gee that they'll put up a big fight to UAE at this point.
I think Carapaz and Bernal will be aggressive, but it will be very hard to beat del Toro, he looks amazing so far. There's very little to suggest from the likes of Yates, Carapaz and Gee that they'll put up a big fight to UAE at this point.
Ayuso doesn‘t look great. Carapaz will throw the kitchen sink at Del Toro and then Del Toro will probably take the Giro. There's very little to suggest from the likes of Yates, Carapaz and Gee that they'll put up a big fight to UAE at this point.
