Honest to God it took me a long time to figure out that "mayo" didn't mean mayonaisse and that "cinco" didn't mean party or something, and that it wasn't a coincidence that the Americans always talked about it being Cinco de Mayo on the fifth of May.

2. Tuesday

4. Little Friday

I think you're probably right, the wall calendar I checked was from The Nature Conservancy (a charity), and while it doesn't list Cinco de Mayo it does list Endangered Species Day on the 16th this month. (I better plan on saving some mallards on that day or something.)
