It taks all kinds mate, that's the beauty of cycling ;)
The problem is that it takes more than just being the fastest in order to win a sprint. A lot has to do with taking risks and bumping shoulders. And that is something I absolutely despise in road cycling
Edit: By all means have a hilly stage where some race craft is needed and not just a pure W/kg test. But sprinting... there should be no place for it in Grand Tours

Majka got dropped last climb but made it back on the Masnada/Kanter train so the pace isn't too high.

That last steep part with like 2 km to go might provide a launch pad for non-sprinters--including Roglic.
