So Ineos...
I think it was worth the shot. Visma had to use their two lead-out riders to close it, and had Vacek pulled too they could have won the arm-wrestle. I think it was closer than it perhaps seemed.

Ineos will get pelters for it but I think they did the right thing, we've complained a bit about harmless breaks with no chance staying at 2-3 minutes all day which is what would've happened here. Better to throw some *** at the wall and see what sticks instead of wasting Turner's time and energy, just a shame Vacek wasn't allowed to help. Hopefully some other teams will be doing the same thing in the next couple of weeks.

One buddy encourages kids to talk to reptilian railway enthusiasts, and then the forum suddenly crashes and a group of adolescents gets detained by Copenhagen Police due to allegedly being involved in organised crime. Coincidence? Probably.

Fortunato really wants those KOM points.

Some rather expensive GPM points, but Lorenzo has a big budget!
Imo he should sit up after that gpm and save some energy for tomorrow. After that one there are only stage 11 and stage 15 who offer some decent KoM points before the 3rd week.

I don't blame Pedersen for winning.

I just don't think reduced sprints are that much greater that ___________ flat sprint stages like it's a get out of jail card for a complete absence of GC stages in the first 2 weeks.

Okay, I think it's a lot better. And I also disagree very much that general lack of flat stages must not be overvalued when assessing a Grand Tour route.

Yeah, but the break wouldn't work with 3 people from Ineos in a group of 12(?), and it was evident by Vacek and Tratnik doing nothing.
And once they knew that, and see Visma not letting Tarling and Hamilton go, they should have stopped instead of catching Turner's break.

How many riders get points on the cat 3 climb? IMO if you're a GC team, you send someone in Fortunato's wheel and have them attack after to pick up the final boni seconds so the rest of the team doesn't have to worry about it. Peloton should be chill anyway so it shouldn't be that much of an effort

Imo Fortunato should have saved energy for the next 2 stages instead of going for a few meme points...

Is buddy a Danish word? What does it mean?

It's a special type of pancake that we eat once a year. The date changes every time and only the knights of the round pancake know when it is. When the day comes, they will start the Rube Goldberg machine (known as a Storm P. machine in Denmark) which will eventually make the pancake bell ring, at a frequency which can only be heard by true Danes, and then we will hurry home to our kitchens and start baking.

Or maybe it's just an English word.

I slept in this morning, I could really go for pancakes right now.

I was in Copenhagen once and everyone smiled and was so friendly and the women were beautiful. It seemed to good to be true but I don't think it was a "my psychiatrist says I'm fine" kind of scenario. Also, no pancakes.
