I'm not saying it's perfect but Fortunato was not gonna close every gap in the final 60 km and is not a good rouleur. I don't think he was that much stronger uphill than say Frigo or Kelderman or Bardet to actually have a chance on this profile.Ulissi has struggled on the previous climbs. I think Frigo is the one who burnt the biggest shot at a stage win among the ones in the second group.

I think they each have something different to offer, I think the Tour has more of a Super Bowl atmosphere though where even non-cycling fans can party and can catch a glimpse in the summer. It's all good though.Love all the races. Equally.
