Australian inmate number 1 !! Plapp despite his scary photo presence is a pleasure to watch race, the guy does it with zest!! Pure gusto!!Also very practical and economical. (Very little need for haircare products.)

Imagine the unreal tension if Ulissi and Kelderman had stayed away and were sprinting for the stage win. Would be an all-time classic.Good stage, full gas all day but still not decided early
watching this stage without commentary, bored to tears. then i turned on the commentary with 30k to go and according to Rob Hatch it's been an epic, amazing, 'festival of cycling'. these guys really love to pee on us and tell us it's raining.
happy for Ulissi tho

I you didn't think today's stage was exiting, I am guessing you are bored by 99 % of the race days in a season?
Plapp is wearing an ankle monitor!!
3" is only for stages designated as expected to finish in a bunch sprint. That is stage 4, 6, 12, 18 and 21.Depends on how the rule is defined. They didn't finish on a categorized climb.
To be honest, I also think this stage wasn't great.I you didn't think today's stage was exiting, I am guessing you are bored by 99 % of the race days in a season?

Could've added this one after the first 6 stages tbh.3" is only for stages designated as expected to finish in a bunch sprint. That is stage 4, 6, 12, 18 and 21.
It doesn't matter. Do you really think he can be a GC contender (top10 material)? I don't.Pidcock literally said he was going for GC.
To be honest, I also think this stage wasn't great.
We didn't have GC action and we knew Plapp would win with 40 km to the finish. This stage had potential for a lot more to be honest.
Yeah, I guess Kelderman winning a sprint for 2nd is quite deceiving like that. The universe would never allow him to win outright.Unstoppable force vs. very movable object
Cataldo went from retiring to DS directly?!
It probably is, but I'm old so a year is like a weekWell, he retired at the end of last year, and became a DS this year. That's... quite normal.
I mean, realistically Kelderman won the sprint mostly because they were out of the fight for the stage win and Ulissi went all in for Rosa, in the fight for the stage he might have played it more defensivelyYeah, I guess Kelderman winning a sprint for 2nd is quite deceiving like that. The universe would never allow him to win outright.
