not really big news, but at an event in Italy, the RCS president confirmed the 2026 Bulgaria start. Before, there had only been the Bulgarian announcement, I think.

Vegni designed some very nice Giro d'Italia routes for Zomegnan already. I think the 2005 Giro d'Italia was drawn from his pen?

So he's responsible for one of the best eras of the race just as much as for the downfall lately.

Let's hope he waves farewell with a nice final parcours!

High mountains? There aren't than many possibilities of high moutains being dropped due to snow. That has to mean something like Stelvio, Gavia, Agnello, etc., Or perhaps the very highest in the Dolomites. Sella, Pordoi, Giau perhaps.
