After AA Drink folded she decided to finish her PhD and race part time (with Bigla.) She did win the Tour Languedoc Roussillon this year though.

Abbot now has 2'40 on 2nd, Guderzo.

Disqualification seems a bit harsh for what is probably an error (mechanic forgetting to add ballast?) rather than intentional cheating. Maybe a time penalty would have been more appropriate?
