Guessing the camera foreshortened the gap as that looked very close to be called a perfect sprint by Kooij, though I guess if you win it, it's always perfect no matter how close. 😀

Wish RAI wouldn't switch so quickly to Processo alla Tappa after the stage finish--would rather keep seeing of riders gathering in the finish area than than the faces of the panel.

Richard Plugge here to claim all the credit and then tell us all about how this shows how cycling is failing and what we need is more city centre criteriums with people paying big money to eat popcorn and drink crappy lager while he pockets the winnings and race organisers shoulder all the responsibility for any costs, while all the other team owners prostrate themselves in front of him for the right to participate as mere serfs to his glorious charges in their circus.

All praise the cartel.

looks very girly. Is it the jersey making him look so tiny for a sprinter?

Cool distribution for the race..Visma, Trek some serious good results, UAE with the semi Cinderella story. Tudor in front more than I expected.Astana with some good moments.. Yates really deserving winner!!

Visma 3 stages and the Pink. They ruled. Sorry to see the last pedal stroke.
Lord I can't stand this Breakaway show.

When will this Visma LAB domination end!

WHOA! Just saw (in replay) that before the start Pope Leo came out to stand with the jersey wearers and bless the race! You all know he's a sports fan, going back to his Chicago and Villanova days. But did you know he's a classmate of mine? :)

Also, cool to see Nairo spending a moment with him.
