Now I'm getting curious; could you tell already by then he would go into church?
To be honest I actually didn't know him--he graduated a year ahead of me. He was also a math major which was a far-away land for an Arts & Letters person like me. I did know there was a group of future Augustian seminarians and he was already part of that group.
However, I never missed a home basketball or football game and rarely missed mass so I'm sure I rubbed elbows with him somewhere along the way :)

I like it, but I wish they wouldn't switch to the studio team so quickly after the finish. I like seeing all the post-race stuff, interviews etc. I swear they used to do that.
They did till WBD got it in their heads the analysis show is more important than the race that everyone actually tunes in for.

He probably realized he had to be the grownup. Del Toro could almost be his kid :joycat:
Carapaz is not that old, he's only 32! (Though the pros do tend to look older just because they are so gaunt and had been kissed by the sun a little too much.)

I'm merely making fun. Carapaz feels like he's always been there to me, because I only started watching cycling for real 2020 :joycat:
I'm always taken aback when riders who have seemingly been around forever wear the white jersey! (I remember Remco wearing it however many years ago and I was really surprised cause he had already been around for a while.)

Tbh when they had to hug around Yates one patted the other which probably broke the ice :)
I'm sure Carapaz and Del Toro will work it out on the road like the competitors and professionals that they are, but I wish the fans wouldn't get involved. There was really no need for Carapaz fans to boo Del Toro once he stepped on the podium on a final GT day like today. I thought that was just petulant and classless.
