A product of the Italian Renaissance obsession for central-plan and domed designs, the project was eventually modified into a traditional Latin-cross shape during the Counter-Reformation. So 0 Gothic influences, but much Baroque ornament inside, largely an effect of Bernini in the seventeeth-century. I was referring to my preference for late antique and Romanesque church architecture over Gothic.😏Not to split hairs, but Saint Peter's is built in the renaissance style - but does admittedly have som gothic and baroque influences![]()
"Biggus Johnson - your mom called and said dinner is ready"Ever since that movie no one names their kid Biggus anymore.
Why do you prefer those?....I was referring to my preference for late antique and Romanesque church architecture, over Gothic.😏

I was saying I prefer Gothic, as opposed to they style of St Pete'sLate antique and Romanesque, but St. Peter's is incredible
Well, since you asked, I love the architecture of the Roman empire in decline and the rise of Byzantium, as far as ecclesastical buildings go: from the Constantinian basilicas, of which sadly almost nothing has survived, to Hagia Sofia (my second favorite building in the world). As for Romanesque, the duomo of Modena gives me goose bumps or the Abbey de Senac amidst the lavender fields in July. Need I say more? However, the duomo of Siena is probably my favorite Gothic structure. Why do you prefer those?
One of my favorite aspects of the gothic is that it was an era when the masons were let off the leash and some of the imagery in stone is fantastic and even bizarre.
Got that and I replied my preference for late antique and Romanesque, noting, however, that while neither late antique, Romanesque nor Gothic, St. Peter's is incredible.😏I was saying I prefer Gothic, as opposed to they style of St Pete's
Interesting. I will have to look those up.Well, since you asked, I love the architecture of the Roman empire in decline and the rise of Byzantium, as far as ecclesastical buildings go: from the Constantinian basilicas, of which sadly almost nothing has survived, to Hagia Sofia (my second favorite building in the world). But it wouldn't have been as fun if he didn't. I don't watch football but I'm here for the Messi compilations. If I had that ability Del Toro compilation might look similarWish he had shown less of it during yesterday's stage! lol
It evidently doesn't take long to knock out a set of 7 custom kits, apparently.
Automation yes. Up to date there's no AI whatsoever. In a not too distant future, when automation and ai gets slightly better, they will be able to produce it in under an hour in a production facility entirely housed in a 20 ft container on a truck![]()

Dye sublimation printer -> cutting robot -> sewing robot -> human quality control.
Doesn't AI steal and then recreate real artists' work? I'm probably confused again...Automation yes. Up to date there's no AI whatsoever.
