Everyone's favourite rider Oscuro Italiano got in the early move yesterday, but in the end he was (as is so often the case) completely overshadowed by his brother Prominentitio, who won the stage.

Will Oscuro be tired after his efforts yesterday, or re-motivated by his brother's success? Only time will tell.

 If another gc rider(s) get in there they will work with him as they need time and will not worry who is in there.

I'm talking about a break with no GC riders ala the stage that Luis Leon Sanchez won in the Tour de France last year.

Cadel to chuck a tantrum and cry to mummy. That is guaranteed on this stage. I'll make sure I have the popcorn ready for such entertainment.

Oscuro is no chance today, big brother is going to bring plenty of firepower and should be even money for the win.

Bobridge DNS.

Well that's a shame, but not really a surprise. Garmin said before the race even started that he wouldn't ride the third week.

Tornadin, I am going to be super mean and not tell you straight out, because to be honest it is blindingly obvious what the gag is.

Look dude you clearly looked the word up because you thought it meant 'dark'. How about you go back to that dictionary page and look at the second definition for the word.

Maybe he's waiting for the third week to really make his mark on one of the signature stages? As you say, only time will tell. Though if he doesn't do anything during the Giro he may be ruining his chances for a decent contract next season. I'd hate for that to happen.

His palmares this season certainly aren't doing him many favours, but I'm pretty sure he'll get a ride, even if it is only with Serramenti Tagliatelli Aqua e Colnago

And just like that, he's in the breakaway! I wonder if he reads these forums...

He has Chris Froome and Luke Roberts for company, 25 seconds ahead of the peloton.

Via some dude's twitter: Evans and Righi apparently dragged up on stage together before todays's stage.
