Scarponi closed the gap, wondering if he's overdone it again like he did the last 3 climbs though.

Why surprised about Kruijswijk? I rate him as an underrated young rider. I rate him ahead of Kreuziger.

Gesink and Kruijswijk are going to be a formidable pair in a few years time.

Add Mollema to that list as well. I suspect the coming years will be good for the dutch. I hope Gesink will be able to win a GT some day as well. That will be hard though. Plenty of top10 in GTs the next years though.
Offtopic though.

Nibali will recompose and limit the damage,

I am not so sure.

Zoncolan he just couldn't handle the pace and needed to work his way into it.

He seems to be truly struggling now.

AC and Movistar definetely have a deal. Contador just waived Arroyo onto his wheel when they caught him.

So 2. and 3. on the GC have cracked completely. I don't even know where Anton is. Gadret is on the podium at the moment...

I know, just willing it to happen. Nibali and anton both in trouble is a worst case scenario for me.

Kruijswijk pays the price.
Talking of paying, the Spanish speaking riders seem to have hijacked an Italian race.
