Here it is. The toughest stage of the Giro. A mountain top finish to the toughest climb in Europe. With three categorized climbs (a bit of uncategorized climbing too) legs will be aching already when the riders reach the base of the climb. With the long awaited (by the riders) rest day coming up after tomorrow's stage, I hope that the GC favorites will throw all caution to the wind. Liquigas rode aggressively throughout the finale today, and I hope it continues. After Nibali's attack on stage 14, I expect the Liqui mountain train to get its groove on again, and deliver a stage win (and only the second victory since his comeback) for Ivan Basso.
