Wouldn't mind either out of Wyss, Efimkin, Cummings or Sorenson winning. That said I think Ignatiev will win if the breakaway survives.

The last kms are uphill-he is not the specialist on this kind of terrain.

I'm hoping Duque can survive this climb. If the escapees finish together, he could take it in the sprint.

THANK YOU GOD

The moron isn't in the studio today. The good commentator is accompanied by former Barloworld rider Hugo Sabido today.

*Makes grateful offer to the gods*

Thankfully they switched to the helicopter camera.

The "junk shot" we had in the thread yesterday was much much worse. On a completely different level... I'm still trying to forget.

Anyway, seems the peloton is taking it piano today.

But Monier did a quite decent ride yesterday.

Yes, he's a decent climber and time triallist.

But, as always, the guys who planned to be in the break today went easy yesterday.

Duque climbs better than Monier. Simple fact.
That doesn't mean Monier won't outlast Duque in that group, but the simple fact is that on a normal day, Duque can climb better. And since he's the best sprinter in that group by quite a margin, it makes sense for Cofidis to play the Duque card.

I don't disagree, but I still vote for Monier, based on nothing. This Giro is like a lottery, remember? :D
