At almost 32km, this flat time trial brings the race total to just over the grand tour limit of 3,500km.

Just realised I've been lucky with exams this year - every Thursday in May. So I've missed some of the less interesting stages (Cav + Ventoso's wins, and today)

That's the Giro: some ridiculously long stages, some very short ones. Although this one isn't that short, actually: the Montevergine stage was 100 km.

Wasn't that stage only shoretened because of snow or something? Leblanc was never that imaginative to incorporate such a stage.

Ha, a break (as per yesterday) but this time with Colnago\Geox and Fernese in it, all the way to the end. No GC changes, nothing, nyadda, now't.
They're all a bit knackered now and will surely save themselves for tomorrow.

Still, a pretty stage non the less, fancy going there myself sometime soon.

I too want Downing in the front, but I think he's happy where he is. His brothers doing well, so hey ho, keep on it.
