Just realised I've been lucky with exams this year - every Thursday in May. So I've missed some of the less interesting stages (Cav + Ventoso's wins, and today) :D

Only 151 km? Why even bother?!!
That's the Giro: some ridiculously long stages, some very short ones. Although this one isn't that short, actually: the Montevergine stage was 100 km.

I think Alpe d'Huez will be around 100 km also this year

So it was a race up the relatively easy climb of Sestrieres? The fact that Riis won by 24" shows how much of a joke he was that year.

Ha, a break (as per yesterday) but this time with Colnago\Geox and Fernese in it, all the way to the end. No GC changes, nothing, nyadda, now't.
They're all a bit knackered now and will surely save themselves for tomorrow.

Still, a pretty stage non the less, fancy going there myself sometime soon.

I too want Downing in the front, but I think he's happy where he is. His brothers doing well, so hey ho, keep on it.

Dario Cataldo must have a good chance today. A Giro win for him is probably overdue
He's riding a great Giro and a stage win would be a nice thick layer of icing on his cake.

Says the man who said this a few posts back.

Well you can't always have 230km Mountain stages. They are humans afterall even if they do dope.

Double-standard little ****.
