Definitely back on. And he'll win the Giro unless he crashes out. Evans should try to hold on for second so he'll have first after Basso gets popped.

But at this rate he might not podium at all.

Sastre, Arroyo & Evans working, Gadret and Vino doing SFA. Must be saving themselves for the sprint...for fourth place!

It contracted pretty well on the descent, but for some reason, the MR didn't work together and the gaps are growing rapidly. Oh well.

Would you shut up? Basso 2006 would've ridden away solo from Scarponi with 3 minutes, laughing. This is nothing like em. Basso 2006 won the Giro with 9 minutes or something
No, can you? Basso maybe not as good as 06 but not too far from it. Basso is back and if people weren't happy about armstrong or vinokourov coming back then they should not be happy about basso!

It looks as if Nibali waiting for basso on the descent was the right move. What a surprise, Amadio knew better than most of us posters.

Most? A small number posted that, and from my MSN talks with a few others, I see we were all in amazement that anyone could say that.

Not trying to wind anyone up :p

Against who? Can you even mention the duds names that came 2nd and 3rd that year?

Well, Jose Enrique "The Buffalo" Gutierrez was 2nd. And he was from Phonak. You know what does that mean? Floyd Landis, Santiago Perez (whos VAM on the some climbs of the Vuelta was over 2000).The former team of Oscar Pereiro, who won the Tour. He was on the program which was even better than Basso's.:)

And third place. Gilberto Simoni. Who climbed Zoncolan faster than Basso. WHo is the 2-times Giro winner. What about Evans? Or Arroyo? Have these guys won any GT?

Basso to do the double. :)

Nibali had sure as hell better be at least co-leader at the Tour or he has been taken for a ride by his DS, he could have won this Giro himself if he hadn't had to wait for Basso on stage 7 and every downhill in the race.

Haven't you been watching the past hour and a half? you like having the riders back which has made this sport so corrupt and full of lies?
