Contador will fall into a hole during the cobbled stage. ;)

Meanwhile, Leipheimer will fall into the small crack between two cobbles and become lodged there for weeks until he is found by a search party.

Haven't you been watching the past hour and a half? you like having the riders back which has made this sport so corrupt and full of lies?

Well, Jose Enrique "The Buffalo" Gutierrez was 2nd. And he was from Phonak. You know what does that mean? Floyd Landis, Santiago Perez (whos VAM on the some climbs of the Vuelta was over 2000).The former team of Oscar Pereiro, who won the Tour. He was on the program which was even better than Basso's.:)

And third place. Gilberto Simoni. Who climbed Zoncolan faster than Basso. WHo is the 2-times Giro winner. What about Evans? Or Arroyo? Have these guys won any GT?
So a hack and an old guy that is 2 hours behind on GC in this race? Summed it up well for me.

It looks as if Nibali waiting for basso on the descent was the right move. What a surprise, Amadio knew better than most of us posters.

It was the right move given the situation they were in at his point of the Giro. They have al chips on Basso and it is too late to switch that.

I wish Nibali would have been a free agent throughout the entire Giro, just think he would have been ahead of Basso now, overall.

Liquigas hasn't got this in the bag yet. Basso is looking good. But I suspect that if they had played Nibali as their ace, they would have had a bigger advantage to defend at this point.

But Nibali has arrived. Hope to see some of the other young pretenders come equally good this summer in France.

Great cycling years ahead.

1. Scarponi

3. Nibali
4. Vinokourov +3'03
5. Gadret z.t
6. Evans +3'06
7. Arroyo
8. Sastre

Wow Vino saved his energy and got himself fourth on the stage, and lost himself 7th on GC.

I hope he's giving Contador lots of tactical advice, it could make the Tour interesting.

Oh,these trolls...Even pro-Lance forum posters are funnier than you.

Really guys, I don't understand such a love for Cadel Evans... Another day of constant wheelsucking. Even when dropped, he goes down fast until being caught for another group for him to wheelsuck again.

He is able to suffer, to be sure, but a second-rate rider nonetheless. How disappointing.

Prove it...........

Basso, Vino and armstrong have tested positive or been implicated before. i can not trust them though it is very possible that evans is apart of it but he seems more " human" imo.

10. Pinotti
11. Mollema
Porte, Kiserlovski, Kruijswijk, Ardila there
Mollema is supposed to be our next Gesink, but I'm actually more impressed by Kruijswijk... 22 years old, still so strong in the final weekend, and he hasn't exactly been saving himself like Mollema has.
