Even if Basso is strong enough to drop everyone, he would be very wise to keep Nibali by his side to help on the descent. Then he can blast away on the road up to Aprica.

Yep.

That's what he's hoping, that Nibali can stay with him to the top or make up ground on the descent if he is dropped.

Basso has no excuse if he doesn't win this stage today and he could stretch his advantage over Evans to minutes and the same with Arroyo.

Just because he's killing your idol, doesn't mean he's doping.

The Evans groupies are that bias it's clouding their judgement on everything cycling.

CN's race preview said it all, "Basso use to destroy his rivals on climbs like this in 2006"

What happened back then? He got caught doping. I'd go as far to say it is a fact Basso is doping again, you can't do the same as you did doping when your no longer on the sauce.

I'm not a hater of him. I'm just stating the facts.

So you're not watching now? Great way to honour and support your idol!

you are. i still do support him but i am just saving downloads as I need to save 'em and as evans is cracking i turned the coverage off.

Garzelli's done.
Could the Aussies not resort to the old doping finger wagging, just because things aren't working out.

It's just one Aussie I think (so far)

Nibali looks fresher than Basso.

Sastre and Vino have caught Evans and passing him.
Dead man pedalling. Normal GT service has returned to Australia.

Nibali has looked the fresher one to me for most of this Giro.

F*ck f*ck f*ck. Two co-workers came in and by talking to them, I missed part of the climb. We have a progress report due today. These guys should really learn to work more independently. Otherwise I might need to replace them.
