I don't know, Cav has ben thoroughly unimpressive this season, and I think at this point it's traditional for him to botch a sprint or two before getting it right. I'm going for Petacchi.

He's won twice, looking considerably better than last year, and his competition have all just gone to Turkey to compete over who can look the biggest chump getting beat by a pack of nobodies.

Iglinsky? Please.

He is coming into form. I hear he is riding well right now. Expect him to take it tomorrow

Cav was still up there with the rest of his team at the end of the TTT. He may be in good shape ...
However 244Km is a long way for him.

Zomegnan, you've failed me again.

Same, I've given up on the Giro already, bring on July, the Tour has two uphill finishes before Stage 5 :(

It is not 2009 any more. The sprinter he used to be is gone...

Milan San Remo = a long race.

Frankfurt = a hilly race.

My response = a disproof that Cav can not win long races.

Would you like me to explain more slowly - tomorrow's stage is nigh on pan flat aside from 2 likely irrelevant 100m bumps. There is nothing in Cav's history to suggest he can't cope with long flat stages.

alejeeeet vs robbie mcewen.robbie wins and gets the maglia rosa.

but 244 km?whos know what might happen?

eyes on visconti,he wants the pressure to disappear as soon as possible.lots of sprinters legs will be tired.

Ok I must say you are right on that one.
We will see but I is too disappointing this year. And if Mark Renshaw is not here for him at the end there is no way I will get it.

I like the use of personal pronouns to highlight Cavendish's famed hatred of team mates and inability to say thank you.

Do you want 21 MTFs in a GT or something?

I'd settle for a few of your Giro thread intros.
It seems as if you have been usurped, this time around.

Oh and the HTC scheduled train service arrives in Parma at approx 17-10CET.:D
