Still, without these road furniture, cycling in the Netherlands, as a hobby, would be impossible, just like in other European countries, and lots of cyclists would get hurt or killed by cars.
So the 'road furniture' is good for something. Just not very suited for racing

The crowds are unbelievable!

The front of the peloton was bunched up like a sorority girl's panties. They waited. :)

EstaTHE need to record a new one, though, they've been rocking the current one for at least two years now.

Norwegian commentator, former pro atle pedersen just said that as a tourist, holland is a wonderful country for cycling, but racing, he hated it. And after all, there are more everyday cyclists than pros.
