If Evans loses this Giro he'll only have himself to blame I think. I can't see who could possibly beat him.

Weening and Mollema lose 3.55. Which would be rather surprising, and incredibly strong by Mollema, who was behind the split in the peloton.

Vino didn't start pushing the pace... Gazelli attacked and now Vino is chasing.

It's Garzelli's fault not Vino's. You can't expect Vino to sacrifice time to Garzelli because Evans fucked up.

This must be the best post of the whole thread.:p

Thats whats its all about, better than watching my team Portsmouth getting battered in the FA cup final.. they are still hanging in there though :)

Well done Millar - shame Garmin rode such a rubbish TTT otherwise he would be further up.

Evans needs to get some lessons on finish-line celebrations from Robbie McEwen or something, although today's was streets ahead of his poor efforts at the Worlds and Fleche Wallone.

Sporza commentator: "He's raising his hands a little higher with every win."

Fantastic stage. Wow. The Giro is superb, and Tuscany beautiful.

Happy for Cadel, but more than anything sorry to see Sastre lose so much time.

I think Evans has been working on his victory salute but still has some way to go. ;)

This is a confidence booster for him and the team :D

good point, certainly adds to BMC cred., and cannot help but add to the other BMC rider's desire to support him when the going gets tuff.

Exciting race to watch, but what a f*cked up way to get rid off a few more contenders after they already had Holland. Gotta say, all in all, I'm not a fan of stuff like this. Mental.

marvellous stage! not particularly thrilled about the outcome, but one of the most watchable gt-stages I have seen.

What he said....

Amazing ride by Evans today, but can't help thinking I'd rather have all contenders in the same group when the dirty work began....bad crash timing:mad:

The Giro is usually insane. But yes, this is beyond insane. I'm loving it, though.
