Is Wigans even in yet?...

Great ride by Millar!

Since he dropped out of GC contention I imagine he will have had a look at the parcours and weather conditions today and said 'no thanks mate', and I can't really blame him. It's not as suited to him as tomorrow is, I would hope to seem him at the front on the Monte Terminillo.

Blow yourself often?

When I watch football, at every free-kick i repeat: This one is going in, this one is going in.
Eventually I'll get it right.

Fantastic course,it was more like a one day classic. Stage races can have extremely dull stages but that was unbelievable.

Yes i think Vino has this now, and he could be dangerous at the Tour if carries on like this.

Well, we gotta give ACF that one:cool:

Well, with the post count he ought to hit gold sometime, and today was indeed a golden ACF day:D

After the craziness of the stage today, do we expect to see more attacks tomorrow, or will we see the riders watch each other all the way up and a breakaway take the stage?

All in all the gaps between Evans and the Liquiguys isn't that big. This was a unique stage, there's a chance Basso and Nibali or on par in the mountains.

Odd, I know, but Cadel now really needs Vino.

Everyone seems to be saying that nibali should hav left basso, but i saw basso on front enough to think they were evenly trading turns.

I think cadel's victory salute was to point at the stripes...though a little late. Great stage.

Cadel can only blame himself if he loses it now...its one week and the 3rd weeks is epic, oh and he isn't in first yet.

Were we watching the same race? As for the Tour, um, I don't think so.

Well if they're half as exhausted as I am after that, a nice trundle to the top of the clumb will do just fine.

Millar will fall out of the top 10 tomorrow, but he's had an excellent first week.

Vino looked like he was digging much deeper than Evans today, I know the climb tomorrow is not super steep but I wouldn't be surprised to see him lose some seconds. I think Evans needs to ride a clever race from here on out, gunning for the jersey tomorrow would probably be a mistake with the team he has.

I think Millar will be ok tomorrow as his form looks great.

Remember he basically followed Evans and Contador up Ventoux last year so he's capable of putting in the occasional efforts on big climbs.

When was the last time, after a week of a GT that there was 1'49" between the first three riders, with no climbs above a Cat 2?

You tip him every race. So obvioulsy you got those two right.

I also predicted him for Fleche, that was way more impressive ;p

You "tip" him for every race...even a stopped clock is right twice per day...or once in Europe.

Haha the Rai lady has had to switch from Italian to French halfway through interviewing Vino.

First of all, that was qualifying.

Secondly, some of us didn't get to watch it live and want to watch if later without having it spoiled, thank you very much.

There's a reason why the cycling forum and the general forum are separate.

Really like the way Vino and Evans worked together. Even when Arroryo (sic) bridged, they just ignored him and rode for time.

Enjoy Vino. Proves that a clean sport will still be exciting. Vino attacking has nothing to do with drugs, that's all in your head. You can fabricate drugs, but you cannot fabricate an attacking spirit.
