If the break stays away for the thrid consecutie day (which would be great) Sorensen will eat Flens alive on the climb to Montalcino, no questions asked.

Flens will have to attack on the flat gravel roads if he wants to have any chance of winning.
It's Flens weather though. Sorensen isn't much of a Flandrien. But yes, on the climb Flens is toast.

And for some reason Aus Eurosport is showing French Rugby Semi-Finals instead of Stage 7/8... Looks like I will be recording it and sleeping :(

They've both got strong teams (Basso/Sastre) to help them but it depends on how much they want to risk it on the descent. - Pozzato

Is that what Pipo is planning? There is what looks like a 6-7km gravel descent, is that his place to charge?
Will be interesting what liquigas or cervelo do if the favs like vino or evans or garzelli have a go. Will be tough to control. Should be a ripper

So you don't consider Vincenzo Nibali a contender?
He finished 20 places ahead of your reason for making this post.
Cuddles was close to last.

A lot of Giro riders in the 2010 result.

My apologies. I must of missed him. My point was about how sastre and basso did not ride MPE this year. Will be interesting to see how they go on these roads of which some people have said they will struggle.

Stuff it. Evans is going to rip it ****ing apart tonight! :D With pozzato...

EDIT: LOL, the dutchies really like to talk up their own even if seeing pigs flying is more chance of happening than their rider winning. they will still go crazy for them. ;)

No one tipping scarponi?

Uran, he has lost some time, so maybe they can let him go? Caisse already lost buckets of time with Bruseghin, so they might want to go stage hunting.

How has Bakelants been performing in the giro last couple of days?

Nice to see Flens stung into action, must have read my Rabo moan the other day. And a nice lead too. Although he's with the wrong guy if the breakaway actually manages to stay away, again.

they bbq their toast down under

I don't think toast can be toast if you don't toast it. Unless the second toast in the previous sentence is used figuratively.

From Erik Dekker's twitter, from the Rabo team car. Both riders should be accustomed to harsh conditions I'd imagine.

To be toast must mean something else Down Under.

I am about to report a bug, as ACF is obviously seeing posts by "Dutchies" that I'm not getting here. Or maybe toast Down Under falls buttered side up.

Either way, this is the last time I'll mention ACF or react to him in this thread. as I can see this rapidly becoming another NLvsAUS post fest, especially if it really doesn't matter what people actually write.

Though the spelling stuff was blatant looking for trouble where there was none, but ACF is reacting in kind by seeing pigs all of his own making. And we still have 90km to go. Sigh.

So I'm gonna try to make it to the end of stage 7 enjoying the Giro before this entire Italian trip becomes a distracting flame fest.
