How prepared was Cervelo for this race? Sastre said that it was a main goal for the team, but looks like he is losing time on nearly every stage. I know the crashes messed things up in the Netherlands, but they have no one but themselves to blame for today.

Mr. Tondo is now their leader?

I doubt it's Sastre's form, considering his very good prologue.

I'm guessing it's the crash.

veery good? he lost 23 seconds to evans in 8.4 kms. could be a combination of things.

ProCyclingLive says Cervélo says Sastre is in Group 1. They just asked Sporza's source of all information André Meganck for confirmation. I'll let you know what he says.

I hope that's the case. I guess with riders wearing rain jackets it would be easier to misidentify riders.

Yes, very good.

If you disagree, I suggest you check his prologues in previous years ;)

Idiot eurosport commentator continues to spout crap.

And as usual, instead of admitting he's wrong, he's making up that he just saw Sastre bridging.

Right.

Nice that Sastre's there, though :)
