At least sastre will definetly have a go tommorow!

If he's injured i doubt it.

He'll wait till the last week, where he could potentially get the most time back, if he'll recover.

You do know he crashed twice already and the only reason he hasn't abandoned is he hopes to ride off the hip joint pain, right? :)

I understand that.

If you read what my post was in response to you'll see that it was a reference to Sastre being pants because he has had a limited pre-season, and you told me that his lousy preseason was because Sastre was sparing himself and not just being shit

his giro is not over if he is 5 mins behind as it is a very tough and descisive last week but it will be very hard for him.

I did read it, yes.

And my post was explaining that it's hard to tell when there are other strong factors, such an injury.

Yes.... And if you read my post you'll find I was having a friendly little dig at you, and not criticizing your prognosticating skillz :p

I think if Katusha can catch Flens and Sorensen within the next 15kms then the tempo may slow down enough to allow the second group to bridge.

but then liquigas will start driving to get rid of sastre and cervelo are disorganised so they will have to get organised and chase hard. it does seem now that it is bunching up a bit.

According to RAI, Ardila brought Weening back to the front group (!?)

edit: scratch that. Not true. They're trying to. Cervélo has given up.

astana, milram and liqui are coming up to set the pace. bye bye sastre.

Really? Looks to me like Катюша might be easing off a little (probably to keep the break in front)

Interesting stage, just tuned in and catching up with the ticker. Not looking good for either the breakaway or Carlos.

Frankly it looks a little disorganized at the front.

1'04" is the gap.
