Nah, there was definitely more than one instance of him looking back, not to mention a couple of times where he dropped Basso and subsequently waited.

Fair enough then. The recorded footage I saw mostly only followed Nibali and Basso by chopper. Not enough motorbikes. Maybe the Eurosport feed was better than the Rai Sports. Take everyone's word for it.

It was Fassa in 2003, IIRC.

Also Rabobank in 2005, when Menchov won, I remember they also had only 3 guys left.

Wasn't there something about Rabobank paying one of the smaller teams to play the role of Menchov helpers, since their own leader had abandoned??

If people actually cared about F1 they would be watching it right now not on here complaining that I mentioned the result.

Anyways edited it out.

Or, like me, they care too much to watch it on some sh**ty internet feed, and instead want to watch it later in good image and sound quality, without breaks, when they get their hands on a transmission from a certain channel that has the best commentators around.

It's not rocket science.

It might be best if you don't quote the spoiler details because the original may get deleted and then you will have perpetuated the spoils to the next victim.

This is true.

Zzzz....If people actually cared about cycling they'd discuss it in a cycling forum.

Hmm..saying it is evans' to lose is definetly not true. With another team mate gone it will still make it hard for him and he will need to time when he gets the pink jersey to perfection and that has to be late as possible.

Wasn't it Murphy that Evans pointed out wasn't in form?

How much of a gap does Moncoutie need at the bottom to win at the top?

Depends whether the favorites are going to have an all out war or not.

Since I dont think they will I'd say he needs a minimum of a minute or so.

C'mon man. It's not cool to spoil shit... Common forum courtesy.

It was an innocent mistake. I am happy he told me. Your being precious.

Moncoutie has no chance on this long climb especially because of its length. Evans will win again.;)

You are in the wrong and you can't weasel out of it by blaming somebody else. Man up.

I think he's pretty much guaranteed if he's in top form and he has the current gap at the bottom of the climb

WTF man? Didn't others have this conversation with you the other night or was that someone else?

I was watching the F1 on channel 10 as the tv next to my pc doesn't have a set-top box, Giro feed and posting on here at the same time and you just spoiled the last 20 laps for me.

Please man just never post spoilers from other sports:(
Obviously don't care much about F1 if your not watching it live on OneHD, i'd buy the box just to watch it live rather then a 30min delay.

How would you like it if someone came in here and told us in no uncertain terms that we're watching the stage on delay and X won?

I wouldn't be stupid enough to come on an online forum if I didn't want to know a result, simple really.

Never heard that.

He said after the TTT that the two guys who got dropped at the start, one was because he's not a guy for time trials and the other because he's in bad form.

Since Wyss is a pure sprinter and the other guy is Murphy, I assume that....well, you get it.

No. Respecting other people is common courtesy.

As is toning down all the Aussie patriotism that has been on overload the past few days, and foregoing the chat about AFL. It is tedious for me, and I'm Australian. Can't imagine how annoying it must be for others.

Well, you're happy. I personally don't care, but many people do.

If you're so happy he told you, why didn't you bother looking up the results on the PC you're behind right now. This is not a general purpose news forum.

You're right! I've seen the light! How could I not have assumed that people would be discussing an entirely unrelated sport on a cycling forum.

Thanks bicycle repair man! You have saved the day once again!

If people had lives with important **** to take care off they might have set recorders etc and avoid F1 forums so they can enjoy the one real F1 classic of the year. Had a good go at someone the other day who also didn't get that, considered posting a note at the beginning of this thread, but I thought, nah, surely aussies are smart enough to figure it out for themselves.

Oi Oi Oi, no they don't. Some keep revelling in staying inconsiderate even after it is pointed out to them. Excuses tops, not even a sorry.

Is there a way to block that continent from this forum during the World Cup in South Africa?

This isn't about people having their feeling hurt or anything.

But you very well could've ruined a nice afternoon of sports watching for some. Happy now?

Well, I personally would look the result up myself, if I needed to find out. You get the point now and won't do it again, I'm sure...No need for either party to go on bickering about it. Back to cycling!

Maybe this forum should try and implement "spoiler" function???
