He's excellent i love these riders, so humble and focused.
Maybe he won't be a GT winner, maybe he's gonna win little because if his ZERO explosiveness, but he certainly shows dedication and respect for his job without the need of making stupid faces.
Ayuso should learn a couple of things from him.
I like him a lot.

If he can keep it together in week 3 it’s shaping up to be one of the better 2 grand tour efforts in a season of recent years from a younger rider.

We saw a young Nibali sink without trace in 2011 Vuelta after a hard Giro and Tiberi has done the same here.
Nibali had two podiums in 2010, but he was 4 years older than Pellizzari is now.
I agree he's showing excellent recovery at such young age. At 21 it is rare to even ride 2 GTs in one season, let alone being a top 6-7 climbers in both.
I'm very curious about his TT performance.

Pellizarri is not an Arensman or Uijtdebroeks in terms of explosiveness, far from it.

He has a decent acceleration in him and so i expect that if he develops further and suffers less from the pace his competitors are putting on him he does actually have the weapons to start attacking.

We should also not forget that this is Pellizarris first year in the WT and so there is likely still a lot of room for improvements in areas that have not had his focus such as TT and Acceleration.

I think Bora have a very big gem in their hands with Pellizarri and definitely one that can aim for GT wins. He is a natural climber, seems very durable, has also shown he can handle himself in hard stages such as the Siena stage in the Giro. Real golden boy.

Very promising and it would seem he is in the mould of a Sastre or the Schleck brothers as being far better 3 week riders than 1 week stage racers.

Hopefully he can put some time into Gall and Riccitello tomorrow (if it happens), and sow up the top five + white jersey.

Not too shabby for a first WT season!
Looking at their TT ability and how he didn't go full gas in the Giro TTs because he was there to support Roglic I'm pretty confident about him gaining time on those 2. If his top 5 and white jersey are secured he will probably be much more willing to go all out for Hindley on Bola del Mundo.

Best way should be to have Pellizzari attack on the Navacerrada already.

That all does depend on UAE/Visma domestiques not interfering though.

That might be wishful thinking, if we look at their team strength...
I agree it could be possible to get either Hindley or Pelizarri away from the group if they had a domestique who could drop Kuss, Tullett, Vine and Co + makes so much pressure on Vinge and Almeida that they choose to let them go and let their domestiques come back. Of course then you need two riders in an early breakaway to stretch out the advantage. I don't think it's possible to do it.

I think the should make the climb really hard with Zwiehoff and Fisher-Black then have Denz in the break for the valley and then try to nuke again with Aleotti and Pelizarri for Hindley. Pidcock looks good but the last climb is a beast so everything is still possible.

Pelizarri has been really a revelation this year. Hindley of course also looks good. i really hope Roglic finds another team in the Winter so that those boys can be leader at a GT.

So now that Roglič has helped the team and the youngsters progress, they should get rid of him. Great.
They will have to beat Roglič first to be able to be leaders.

And well done Giulio, I'm really happy for him!

Nice win, RBH really got a great team to compete for the podium in all GT's next year.
RBH currently has a lot of riders who can finish high up in the overall standings. Guiolio is already showing at a young age that he can ride consistently for three weeks. Jai can finally show once again that he is one of the best riders in the third week. Lipo has also proven several times that he is good at long, difficult tours.

Then there are Remco and perhaps Roglic. The latter has to show that he is still captain. Remco certainly has the most talent of all, but he always has periods of weakness, especially in three-week races.

The big challenge will be that you only need a max. 2 captains, but many helpers. There are riders who are really good as captains, but not as helpers. Take Almeida, for example, who can do both. The counterexample is Ayuso, who is much stronger as a captain. You can start with a maximum of two captains. Martinez and Vlasov are also there, who might also like to be captains. Deciding before a race who will be the helper and getting these riders to commit themselves completely to others will be the biggest challenge. Lipo and Guilio have shown that they can do this. The rest, not so much. It's going to be exciting.
