Betancur is no longer riding this, Strade Bianche or Roma Maxima. Not sure why.

he was still racing in colombia at the weekend (Clásica Rionegro, where he won a stage but was disqualified later on for not signing in before the start of the stage), maybe he just needs a couple of days to recover from the trip. He will do Tirreno Adriatico as far as I know.

So he won the stage but did not sign in, silly boy.

Still the idea that he needs a bit of a rest from traveling makes sense.

Maybe. But Fedi is a promising rider for these kind of races as well, will be interesting to see what they'll be capable of. Also Rovny, although his last good results were ages ago.

Andrea Fedi is an excellent prospect! However, it seems only his brother Matteo will be riding.

Ilya Gorodnichev is normally strong in hilly 1-day events. Maybe the big Russian can have a respectable ride.

I don't think Sagan will attempt to win this.

I too am hoping for a Ulissi victory. The winner is most likely to be an Italian.

You could be right about Sagan, he will just use this race to judge how his form is heading into SB and TA.
“Camaiore is a hard race and my first goal is to regain confidence. This way I can judge how I feel before the Strade Bianche and Tirreno-Adriatico.”

I'm hoping Battaglin and Duarte go well.

Battaglin and Duarte should both do well here unless they are working for others. Not sure they can win it though.

Don't suppose there will be any Italian streams for this?

Rai is not broadcasting this live, but there will be a 1-hour highlights at 19.00 on Raisport 2

The organizers have chosen to make special accomodations for Andy....

And the good news is that there will be new asphalt patches on the descent tomorrow.

About 1 hour in.

138km to go, gap about 10 minutes.

Taylor Phinney (BMC Racing Team)
Stefano Agostini (Cannondale )
Maxim Belkov (Katusha Team)
Alessandro Proni (Vini Fantini - Selle Italia)
Pedro Paulinho (Ceramica Flaminia - Fondriest)

Phinney is growing on me (well, he is pretty big anyway), never dull.

Ticker here.

Duarte is in poor form. Otherwise he would be one of the favourites.

duarte isn't in poor form. he's had the best winter of his career(in colombia), he's peaking to the giro of course, but his base level is very high anyway.

You mean the base level that got him an amazing 55th place in Tirreno last year?

or the base level that made him destroy the race in fleche brabanconne?

your ignorance and hatefulness is pitiful again. base condition only works of course if you have a good base and guess what he lacked last year and his whole team?

Oh, you mean the one he won? Or the one where he destroyed Voeckler by losing to him with more than 1 minute?
