Lol cobbled specialists like GVA and Vanmarcke getting 5hat on by some Slovakian sprinter on the cobbles

Oh wait no, Sagan is a cobbled specialist and guys like Cavendish and Kittel dont belong in the peloton, proven by the fact that they lose to Sagan at their own game :)

Two riders that got kicked out of Quick-Step for a reason.

Sagan is a sprinter that can do cobbles and a cobbled guy that can sprint, no point in trying to put him into some box

Thinking Sagan will take this. I really hope we get some aggressive racing though which splits the race apart.

Two attackers with a 2 minute lead already. Doesn't look like it will be an aggresive race. Only hope is that either BMC or Sunweb will make it an aggresive race. But Van Avermaet could count on his sprint for WT points and Sunweb might go for Matthews again instead of Dumoulin, which is logical because Matthews in a sprint is a safe bet for top 5.

:(

It is against Sunweb's interests to make this race an interesting one. BMC, on the other hand...

Why is it against their interest? They could make the race hard for Dumoulin.

But they probably won't

Or Matthews. Do you think Matthews could beat Sagan or GVA in a hard race?

Why not? Matthews was 4th in LBL. He's not that bad at hard races.

Right, but a hard race could create a select group which Sagan or GVA could attack out of. Then again Sagan has come up empty a few times after a hard race.
