Good catch, @Libertine Seguros, now I wonder if I missed any like that.
And it matters because I included it, missing the fact that it broke the rules, so now the vote is invalidated. And with Koronin's vote 2011 Tour is out!

If I had been aware that the vote of @gregrowlerson is invalid, I would have probably voted to heal 2011 Tour, or at least eliminate 2010 Vuelta before it, but now it's too late.

I did wonder if any of the others might have done so. Probably not Põhja Konn, cos they hurt it a couple of days ago, but somebody else might. I thought you'd updated after Koronin's post so whether it was on 1 or 2 points didn't really make any difference.

It's kind of fitting that it should go down in controversy, giving an unsatisfactory end to a prolonged battle of attrition (I think it's had more votes than necessary in both directions, but at least unlike quite a few of the races that have gone lately it was memorable enough to create strong opinions!). In all honesty though I think it's going at the right time - buried somewhere in the midfield. Stages 16-19 and to a lesser extent 20 (I think we all knew Cuddles would overcome the time gap, but the manner of it was more cathartic than tense, and I see no real point in being judgmental about stage 21 in a Tour de France, since we know full well what we're getting from it and if I remember rightly 2011 was actually one of the more memorable Champs stages) raise it well above the races we killed off with nary a second thought, but the first 15 were so, so bad that I can't justify it being anywhere above mid-pack.

@Libertine Seguros I kinda agree, it had an awful first 2 weeks but a great final week. I would rate it ahead of 2010 Vuelta and maybe 2 or 3 more GTs on the list, but most of the remaining Grand Tours are heavy hitters.

On another note, 2010 Vuelta is gone too, and with it we have half the contenders eliminated.

Had they known that the race's fate still rested in Koronin's lethal hands, and your call for help had not been answered, somebody else may have intervened, but by the time the error had been discovered, alas! The 2011 Tour is one of those races that is memorable for certain reasons, but wasn't a great race. I'd put the 2015 Tour in that category as well. There are a few others that fit as well. I did skip a day that I didn't hurt it that I could have.
