edit: I realize we've all been speaking in the present tense here, and "older than 35" might not apply if the guy isn't alive, but I'm trying to rule out loopholes and less intuitive readings here.
I think the reading has been resolved. It looks like at least one of you has the answer.
He is not alive. He would be more than 35 if he were alive today.
His greatest achievement was also replicated by Jan Ullrich.
He is Polish.
He has performed on the road at the Olympics.
He has worn a classification leaders' jersey at a GT but not a GC leaders' one.
He has raced the Giro and Vuelta but not the Tour.
