Sorry, but why are you so interested in the riders' nationality?!?!?
Ask some questions about what he did (or did not) instead!

Because that makes it a lot easier duuuh
You want questions you get questions then, did he ever won the national road race?

Did he win the national road racing championship more than once?

Does the country he won the national road racing championship for still exist?

Because we asked them eralier and you have still not answered them. So we ask them again, and yet you don't answer them. If he is Moldovan then that narrows the options down incredibly, if he's Russian then we continue. Our job is to ask the questions, yours is to answer. We've asked a question, and we wouldn't mind an answer. :)

Anyway, would you consider him a sprinter? Did he retire between 2000-2005?

Edit:sorry for the passive agressviness in it, not meant.

Ha ha, no worries, I understand. Just wanted you to ask some questions about his riding, teams, races he won for instance, instead of only focusing on his nationality. The reason for that is...well, fact is it's not easy to answer. I think he's Moldovan now - but he wasn't as a racer. And I thought you would all just guess it straightaway if I said that.
Not really a sprinter, no. But top tens in the hundreds....

Yes, Andrei Tchmil.
.
Born in Russia, moved to Ukraine, went to cycling school in Moldova, Russian champion in 1991.Then became Belgian citizen, and won his first monument at the mature age of 31 (Paris - Roubaix). He also won Flanders and MSR.
I think he's Moldovan now. At least I read somewhere that he was rumoured as a possible sports minister in Moldova.
