I know this topic is about Contador's case only, but I decided to extend it a little.

You decided to hijack it and bring more ammunition to those who accuse you of bringing Gilbert into every thread.

To cheer you up, and bring your off topic post on topic, Gilbert now has a 4th on the Muur de Bretagne.

Hooray.

Are his 2011 and 2012 results scrapped too?

Or only those in 2010.

Sorry, I am too lazy to look it up.

All "winners" who have won nothing. The results from the past year and a half are all trash now, because they are all false. This thread exemplifies exactly how surrealistically absurd cycling has truly become.

Well, that's ****. UCI sucks.
They basically made him waste a year of his career by not banning him immediately.

Yup. But at least he got to race, that's what he loves to do. Otherwise he would've spent 2 years not racing.

Doesn't he still have to spend 2 years not racing now? Or did 2011 count as his first banned year?

Suspension is per August 2010. He can race again in August this year.

This also now means that José Joaquín Rojas attacked on the biggest climb of the Spanish nationals last year and soloed in from 20km out...

Impressive that race. The legend says it seemed like he had someone helping alongside him. But no one saw anything it will remain a mistery for the eternity :D

It also means that in the 2010 tour, Astana went to the front during some of the mountain stages and decimated the peloton, just because they felt like it.

No, I showed that justice is only done to some and not to others. Did you ever read Animal Farm? Well, let's just say Vino and Kolobkop are pigs ;)

I could also have brought in Armstrong, but this thread would have been game-over then.

It was for Vino, he just didn't have it sometimes. When Navarro broke away on the Col de la Madeleine with only Andy Schleck in tow I have no idea what he was trying to do. Epic solo by Schleck that day though, time trialling for nearly 40km - including a lot of descent - alone to the leading quintet.

Why they chased their own team leader into Mende I don't know, but Joaquím Rodríguez put in a herculean solo to overtake the Kazakh.
