Handy Household Hints (cycling related or not)...

I don't know if somewhere this might already exist in the dark recesses of the forum, but I have a question and thought I would just turn it into a thread----someone else may need some help! :)
(mods, please feel free to merge if this is a repeat)

Q: Does anyone have any great solutions for getting the adhesive from stick-on race numbers out of delicate cycling jerseys, skinsuits, etc??
THANK YOU

Have you tried Goo Gone? Works great on most sticky residue such as that left by price tags and the like. I've seen it at the big box hardware stores.

Euchelyptus oil from the old gum tree may work depending on what the formation of the goo is . cheap enough try it wont harm and may even make the knicks smell nice.

rub it into the mark straight from the bottle then into the warm wash.
