Peter Stetina. Has always performed well in the GTs, but relegated to support and was lost in the shuffle at Garmin.

Matteo Trentin I would say is another guy who works his **** off over and over again for others. In most teams he would be leader or at least have somewhat of a free role. But with Quickstep he has to ride for Kwiatkowski/Boonen/Cavendish. And he is very versatile: hills, cobbles, sprinting. Got two chances to go for a Stage at the Tour and won both times. A shame he does not get more chances. But he is in a contract year and has not extended so far, so maybe it is time for a new challenge?

Good picks.. Especially Tuft.. His whole background screams of a documentary..
Riding his bycycle across the world with a trailer on the back if I remember correctly.. Then goes on to be a GT rider with nothing but respect sorrounding him.. Sometimes the Grupetto guy is the true story of cycling...

It's one I would love to watch! :)

Matteo Bono is another of those guys, this year nearly 500km in the breakaway between Milano-Sanremo and LBL

I have to say...

Daniele Benatti....

Last year and this year, he has been nothing short of outstanding...
I actualy rate his current role as more appraisable than his previous career results..
Winning is not everything...

Of the younger generation, if Dillier can't ever turn into a winner of any sort, I think he can at least be up there in this category and remembered for a lot of races.

Don't know much about him to be honest..
But your description immeditately makes me think of Adam Hansen..
Maybe he should try skip just one GT next year..
To peak all year only makes your peak less significant..
But i surely do respect, doing ten GT's in a row, not beeing anonymous in any way..
