I have been meaning to say this but was kept busy with other stuff: great site, sexy looks too, and I love you kept it factual.

Just a quick note to say that some disruptive posts + replies in this thread have been removed as is our policy when it comes to one particular type of disruption to our site.

When a reply was adding substance to the background of the site [by those explaining what their site was all about - and what it isn't about], I have edited the post so those parts remained in place.

This is great.

Hopefully this will create a financial return in some way or another (and there are alot of ways that could happen) so that this sort of behaviour is encouraged.

You are creating value out of nothing but your own hard work. Great.

Suggestions are welcome, but it's really all just a question of resources. If I had included all regions of the world (espcially the US and Latin America), all cycling disciplines and both genders then I'd still be entering the data now. :)

For the moment, I don't have any plans to extend the scope of the original enquiry beyond "European professional (male) road cycling 1980-present".

Anyone out there who would like to contribute data in an organised, more or less complete way, with the business rules supported currently, I'd be happy to receive it.
