Oh wtf, that's a surprise. VG (biggest newspaper in Norway) has never cared one bit about cycling before, they've barely even had news articles about the Tour. Maybe one for who won it and then something if some Norwegian did well or if some clip went viral.

But they have been pouring resources into live sport lately with some football rights etc. Broadcasting the TDU was not something I saw coming though. I really don't want to get a subscription to their stuff, so I guess Tiz it is.
Perhaps they are stepping up and grabbing some of the rights that TV2 were said to be dropping. The latest news I heard on Twitter a few months ago was that TV2 were scaling back massively on cycling rights.

Anyone has a round-up about everyone who is in the group?
Not really, but the most important ones would be O'Connor, Durbridge, Harper, Welsford, Bleddyn, Marriage, Saunders.

The important guys who are not there, i.e. almost five minutes back in the peloton, are Vine, Plapp (and the rest of Jayco), Dinham, Chamberlain, Walsh, Gilmore, Howson, Plowright, Mackellar, Browning, Quick.

Welsford dropped from the break, so the Jayco pair will be feeling a little bit better. But the WT guys in the peloton has kinda gotten going now, gap down to 3.20 with 60km remaining.

Who's pulling the peloton? They've reduced the gap by 2 minutes.
Gilmore, Mackellar and Vine have been doing quite a lot.

Oh, Vine will win, and my previous message won't have aged well 🤣.

I think the break is still favoured. They have kinda been soft pedalling as well for a lot of the race, just a bit less soft than the peloton. And if the WT guys in the peloton actually manage to bring it back, they will have used a lot of energy. The Jaycos not in the breakaway will be in a good situation then. But at least there's a race on.

Yaco will be shitting himself that Durbridge is in the break

I have no problem with Durbridge winning if he is the strongest. As I posted two weeks ago, Jayco is setting the race up for O'Connor, though I'm not convinced he can drop the group.

Been impressed with the locals. Think BOC wins still but Harper also a good chance
Harper looks a bit cooked. Bettles, Bleddyn and Christie-Johnson were the three who could follow the two Jaycos just now. But Harper, Marriage and two others have made it back to the front now.

Commentators now agreeing that Durbridge could win Roubaix.

I don't know how good of a job they're doing (I don't think Ewan chipped in there, though, but he could have told them to get a grip).

Thought BOC would try to get away there.

Chase could get caught by peloton at this point.

Then it is only Durbridge vs peloton on last lap.
