based on last years race 1m and 40s is not enough for Durbridge. The only difference is Durbo has had an easier ride this year.

Not that good tactically if they let the break get caught by the peloton behind Durbridge. Their advantage was having O'Connor as a back up behind the solo leader. By letting the peloton catch up, they have a few more cards of course including Plapp but they also let everyone else back in the race.
