Mine hasn't too.
He's quite the same sociopath as Armstrong, wanting to win whatever the price.
Sometimes different methods, Vino paying his rivals, LA paying UCI/USADA.
Not surprising they had the same doctor, where not scrupulous when it was time to fire former teamates (Livingston vs Kasheshkin). They both have zero empathy, maybe zero emotions.

Vino! hails from some weird Islamic ex-commie Eastern Euro/Western Asia country...they don't manufacture those things there!

So...you voted 'Lance who?' ?

Agree, both are common crooks. The biggest difference is that Vinokourov still has some undeserved shred of legitimacy, and still poisons cycling, while Armstrong is done.

I do think this is an even more stupid thread than the What do you think of Jan now, but I totally agree on:

and, given the crookenedness of cycling I even got to like the dopester Vino. But I still know how he with his big fat a@@ at Casino was not able to climb the high mountains, as one would expect. Vino was a duplicate of Armstrong one might say, made for the Ardennes, maybe some short stage races, not the high mountains, come on.

But, a nice farewell from him at the Olympics at the IOC and the UCI, laughed my a@@ off :D

Vino is an unrepentant doper who manipulated the system. I love his riding style, but any win he has is tainted. I am certain doping played a part in his Olympic gold.

This.

Vino was/is not good for cycling no matter his aggressive style.

Somebody has to win. All the riders winning the big races are doping, so what helps the sport? A borefest from riders like Leipheimer and Wiggins or a great spectacle from riders like Landis or Vino?

The sport needs drama to survive.

Aint you been listening. This was the "cleanest olympics ever". How dare you taint the fantastic and clean achievements of all the clean athletes at the clean olympics by suggesting doping was going on.

Afterall every athlete was tested an average of 0.5 times during the 2 weeks and every athlete who won was tested at least once:eek:

I dont see how doping was even possible.

+1

i kind of think this thread and most of the other polls lately are ridiculous.

still, i unrepentantly will love Vino forever for the way he rode.

I'll take Vino over Lance. Unrepentant for sure, but I don't believe he sued anyone for saying he's a doper, nor took any other form of action, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not expecting a confession and if he does, it won't contain an apology.
