No. Of course if I had the episode's events would've been much less brutal for me to witness. When I heard that they were making the series for tv I decided it's best for me to not read the books until after the series ends. I preferred not knowing what was going to happen.

After the beheading of Ned Stark in the 1st season I decided to read the books to prevent further heart attacks. Was better for my health.

Just like in cycling, I wouldn't get too attached to any of the characters. Something bad will happen to all of them sooner or later. It will probably be worse than getting caught using doping though.

I can read the books at a later date if I choose to. I have no complaints about the quality of what they've done with tv series. I'm enoying it immensely.
