No seriously, what?
SilentAssassin said:With Menchov out of the picture the tour has kind of lost entertainment value to me.
And I'd hate to say it but I'd still be entertained if Alberto Contador was in the mix. I'd like to see the great Spaniard dancing on the peddles and giving Wiggins some kind of challenge. Not saying I buy the whole "bad steak" thing but this tour is a heck of a lot more fun seeing Contador out there.
Would also be nice to see Andy Schleck in the mix and watch them take turns with their high speed bursts on 10% gradients.
I think next year will be more fun to watch. It'll be interesting because there will be Froome, Wiggins, Andy Schleck, and Contador competing...assuming Froome and Wiggins don't get banned for anyting *crosses fingers*
I just hope all the BS is done next year and all these guys are invited and we can see them race. To me, Wiggins is getting a free pass. He's earned it, but without AC and AS to defend it's a pretty hollow win and pretty boring tour.

I wonder if Andy will contend again, his head doesn't seem right and seems to be upset too easily. I think his form this year has been atrocious. He'll need one hell of a mountainous tour to be in with a shout nowadays, getting there in the right shape will be another thing. Perhaps he should start his own team and get a Tour winning DS in, that might help..
When you say you hope all that BS is cleared up for next year.. Let's hope AC is contrite and learns his lesson. Can't remember the last time he won anything.. seems so long ago! Last Tour, he didn't look too great.
It's alright people saying what if AC and AS were in the Tour, but they're not. One's been caught and the other is 'injured'.

Christian said:No we want him out of the Tour, a.k.a. greatest race of all, he can have the minor ones that no one cares about anyway ... according to el Hitchi
the asian said:If you bother to watch races outside July you should have noticed that AC dominated and won one of the most demanding Giros by a considerable margin destroying a certain Vincenzo Nibali whose attacks your beloved Brad Wiggins seems unable to respond ,unless being escorted by his domestiques.
And mind you, he didn't fail a single test conducted by the RCS.
gingerwallaceafro said:He slung his hat in the ring at the Tour and got beat.
Speaking of domestiques, Bertie's did some very stirling work for him too - Navarro and Tiralongo have been incredible!
Let's not talk about tests here, but he isn't banned for no reason.

ya, that's the same as wiggins being led like a child up a climb...
indeed lets not, plenty of wiggins talk going on in the clinic.
