The Schlecks and Sastre about conflict between them in the TdF. I heard kind of Sastre wanted to go still on the Croix de Fer, but Riis didn't let him. Frank allegedly took offense a lot after that, though it's unfair for what. :p Very interesting.

Why did Frank take offense? He wasn't very impressive that day and was never going to win the Tour, regardless of Sastre.

That's the reason why I'd ask about it. Frank always stated in the subsquent interviews they had ridden for Sastre, done everything to help him to win and so on, although I don't get how Schleck helped. There was a big clash of interests otherwise Sastre wouldn't have left the team so unexpectedly.

The Schlecks are against all sorts of attacks made against them on the bike. There's a whole set of rules about that you know.

I would ask the current generation why none of them even attempts an "Ocana" or a "Hinault" type do or die exploit.

Landis's "comeback" aside, when was the last time a rider handed out a kicking to the peloton?

Andy Schleck, Tour de France '11?
Emanuele Sella, Giro d'Italia '08?
Fabian Cancellara, Ronde van Vlaanderen '10?

Not really the same league as Ocana taking 8 minutes out of Merckx at the top of his game, nor Hinault's sheer bloodymindedness in Liege Bastogne Liege. I was more questioning the lack of balls in the modern peloton. No derring do, no panache.

+10000. And has he considered a custom frame.

Isn't it the UCI's fault that he rides what he rides? That if he rides a bike smaller than the one he uses, it wouldn't meet with regulations.

Pat, why do you persist with the PT WT? Isn't it time to rethink?
Abraham Olano why do you think close finishes without any racing before hand is a good thing?
Every cyclist in the peloton, how much has changed with regard to doping betwen the bio passport and now?

I'd ask DZ if he ever hit his head as a child! :p

I still remember the stuff from the Tour, after his crash some French doctor's apparently thought he'd hit his head during the crash. Only because he kept asking for whisky...
