Well, Nibali got his monument :D
Rosa probably the 2nd strongest today.

Also proud of Kwiatkowski. Animates each race. If he improves his climbing legs at Sky--- watch out

Nibali wins the race in the downhill. What a surprise

How is that a surprise? Nibs by far the best descender in the front group. He couldn't make the gap uphill, Nibs style to try downhill as a section option.

Best flag throw ever! Was it adhesive, or simply help up by momentum/friction?

Wouldn't have been so great if it had jammed his front wheel while he had his hands off the bars.

I simply loved this route, full on ever since la Madonna I think and with all this difficult technical descents.... I really hope RCS stops changing it around.

Also congrats Vincenzo, the man who makes the most out of his skills. Really happy for Pinot too but he definitely lacks the killer instinct.

Moreno appeared to be stronger but lost it on the descent

Nibali had already made a huge effort to breakaway, besides several attacks on the previous climb, while Moreno was basically just sitting there. No surprire that on the last climb Nibali lost a good chunk of time. He knew that if he could top the last climb with a handful of secs, he would make it, and he did!

Bravo Squalo!!!

That was hands down the best Monument of the season.

By far, it would have been even better with Purito, good to see the real Nibali back. I hope he stays for 2016 and the rest of his career.
