"But Remco can cook Pogacar on the flat after a hard race even with him on Remco's wheel"Remco losing time on the flat now against Pog
Sure, but I still think Pogacar is relatively fresher than Remco anyway and is just maintaining the gap comfortably. Anyway the guy tries kudos to him.Arguably his better chance of gaining time on Pog is on the flat after the descent. Unfortunately time gaps scale with gradient, so he won’t have enough flat road to make the race close.

Yeah right, only reason he didn't follow Pogacar.Del Toro was in the way
Because it's a great section to extend your lead if you're a better TT3r, no?In 3 km of a flat section, Remco lost 7 seconds to Pogacar.
It's a joke... Do Pogacar fans lose their sense of humour as fast as fans of other riders lose hope?Yeah right, only reason he didn't follow Pogacar.
Remco is better on a TT bike because of his position. When they ride on a road bike, Remco's position doesn't allow him to be much aero so it's more about power too (race lenght is also important) so Pogacar can be similar to Remco.Because it's a great section to extend your lead if you're a better TT3r, no?
Wait...
I have just seen you write some write pretty out there stuff in regards to Remco v Pog, so I thought you were being serious. It's a joke... Do Pogacar fans lose their sense of humour as fast as fans of other riders lose hope?
When he looks back at the race and what he is doing, dangling again at @1..1:15 he needed to put himself under pressure to stay on Tadej's wheel..made the same tactical decision 3, 4 big races in a row and will finish a strong second. Hard to say it, but Remco was just too reserved and raced tad bit too conservative.. Guy is still riding great, he put everyone else under tremendous pressure and Storer is out on the limit.I think Remco learned. He didnt even try to follow Pogacar at all, he should have some left in his tank now opposed to burning himself trying to follow his wheel. In theory but might not be the case.
But he will somehow managed to cook Pogi when he rides in front of him.In 3 km of a flat section, Remco lost 7 seconds to Pogacar.
That's completely falseWhen they ride on a road bike, Remco's position doesn't allow him to be much aero
