This is where I get so ****ed-off at guys like McQuaid. I'm no genius, but I read articles. And I remember what I read. Apparently I remember these details for decades. And so do many others.

I get ****ed because McQuaid can't remember his own lies as well as I can remember his quotes from what seemed like totally random articles, years ago. I hate it when he assumes everyone is crazy or an idiot.

I kinda like it...

Pat McQuaid is quoted in the article eugolising over Armstrong as usual.

Yeah by hopping off his bike just before thousands who had lined the streets got to see him.

Charity Navigator still rates them as high even though they haven't submitted any financials in almost 3 years?

Strange.

To be fair, financials aren't prepared until the following year. Therefore it is less than a year since the 2010 financials should be available and of course the 2011 financials will not be expected for a few months.

The period in question isn't almost 3 years but less than a year.

so 2010 accounts should have been available (and audited) by 30 September 2010 - ie 16 months ago, and 2011 accounts by 30 September 2011

In any case, it is not ok for a charity to not present its accounts by the end of the next financial year!!!!!

Nope. It's personally endorsed by the nice Mr. Armstrong, so everything will be all right. If there's a problem, he personally jets to your house to fix it. Or so I read on an internet forum.

If I was you, I would spend my petro-dollars on beer. No problem with warranties and more personal enjoyment.
