Is Lance a LOT cleaner than most of us think?

Lance is "The King of the Epo Era" right?
The Grand Poobah of EPO. Just check out the Graphs and Charts right?
EPO transformed donkey Lance into a 7 time winner of the TdF right?

And while hundereds of cyclists have been busted this decade for EPO, both big fish and little fish, Lance has evaded detection by bribes and what not.

"Lance was seen handing EPO packets to Floyd"
"Postal was using Government Money to pay for gobs of EPO"

But then yesterday Floyd drops THIS BOMBSHELL:

He said Mr. Armstrong told him that cyclists used to use erythropoietin, or EPO, a drug that controls red-blood-cell production, to enrich their blood during the Tour. But that substance was now detectable in tests, so riders had turned to transfusions.

Not ALL riders turned from EPO to transfusions of course.
But Floyd's comments seem to indicate Lance did!

Maybe Lance has not tested positive for EPO since 1999 because he has not used EPO since 1999? Instead, he used old 1980's technology.

Well, I think the haters owe Lance an big fat apology!

And after the apologies, there will still be time to enjoy an AWESOME TdF.

PS...I sure hope Lance does not get busted for EPO this Tour:(

Armstrong an apology? No way!

Why? Armstrong has always had the funds (and the attention to detail) to ensure his dopiing is state of the art and switched from epo to transfusions or whatever else to stay one step ahead of the controls. His performance in today's Prologue just shows he's back on top of the doping game. Explosive prologue speed tends to fade with age. Jens Voigt, very quick in prologues in his hay day was a minute down today but Armstrong was right up there.

Are you drunk or on drugs? If not, you should consider it.

Polish is on the right track folks. Rumor has it Lance will fully immerse himself in 1980's technology. Huffy is building him a new steel bike as we speak, complete with down tube shifters, a quill stem, and 32 spoke box rims.

Steel is Real.
Like Lance.

That looks too much like early 1990's technology. Too modern.
Lance doesn't need aero bars either. If the wind blows too hard, Lance'll sue it.

Nah, he'll organise a rider protest.

I've just figured out that if you want your thread to blow up faster than a firecracker on the 4th. Just add LA or Lance or Armstrong in or around the actual forum post. As for the Anti Lance fan boys. Seriously don't you guys see YOU are the ones who keep bringing him up and around. There has to be about 14 threads dedicated to Lance being a "cheat" and a "liar". Fact of the matter is Nothing Has Come Out Yet! No one knows anything about anything. Its all specualtion and you are all using this as hard evidence that he's cheated. Seems like someone else has the crush. Or is spending all their time thinking about him.

So I guess by your logic Fabian and the other three ahead of LA are all dopers too?

Riders who started first, ala, Tony Martin, didn't have bad conditions, as did the last 10 or so. Many of the riders who rode in the middle had to contend with very wet corners and wind. Where did Jens start? How has he done in the run-up to the tour for his prep?

I'm not defending LA but he looks as fit as he did when winning previous TDF's. Lost much of the upper body muscle and shed any excess weight. That could have a bit to do with it... possibly?

Let's see how he does in the mountains without Bruyneel screaming in Contador's earpiece. I'll believe this form when I see it.

I think the increased focus on drug screening will assist with a cleaner tour this year and funnily enough I think that lance will benefit from it.

You can see it already in the performances of some of the so called GC favourites and I am predicting it will become more apparent in coming weeks. No podium for Andy, no top ten for Wiggo, no riding away from the leaders by AC.

Mate you are in wishful thinking territory if you think Armstrong will not be up there in the mountains.

Yeah, the other g.c.contenders may be conservative in their doping so they don't get caught, but Lance is so arrogant that he'll just keep up his regular program...sure he'll benefit from increased screening, he's already paid off the testers. Business as usual.

Nothing has come out yet? Have you read From Lance to Landis? I would guess not. Lot's of evidence in that book. And if it is all "lies" then why did Lance NOT sue the author and the people quoted within its pages? Go read the book, then come back and tell me different. Just because YOU haven't read the evidence don't assume the rest of us haven't.

It all depends on how you define a "cheat"? Is hanging out with strippers at a well known strip club in Austin (according to the WSJ) while you are married cheating? I am not sure so perhaps you could answer that. If yes, it makes it a lot easier to connect the dots.

Just like you think I did to you velo, you just did the same thing to me. I've read the book but unfortunatly its all He Said This, He Said That.Unless there is pictures or something tangeable not the word of someone who fought as hard as Landis did to defend a lie. Please I already know what half of you are thinking and going to say. I know you ALL "know" Lance is a cheater and a doper but untill its proven I don't agree. But in the case that it is proven, there will be no one who I dislike more than lance for defrauding his fans and most of the public.
