What is middle ground? Well mine might be called that as I see a graded scale of 'less dodgy' to 'very dodgy'. At the good end are Garmin and Sky who I think have a basic management philosophy of 'do not dope on this team' and at the other end is the management philosophy at Astana and Tinkoff-Saxo where VinoKurov and Riis urge their guys to soak themselves to the gills.

One of the good guys here said they all stopped with shady things in 2006, unfortunately. Also, Wiggo, from the "good guys" was totally uncool when he dropped the "no shady doctor" routine after his employers hired doping doctors, surely for combating saddle sores and stuff like that. So you cant really continue with this "good" vs "evil" narrative without looking heavily biased.

And that would be pretty nasty for the important anti-doping work dont you think?

This thread just sums up what a vapid, pointless place this has become, populated by some of the worst, most unpleasant cycling fans on the internet.

Glad it has finally been summed up. Thank you for all the fish

The clinic is where few couple dozen or so people post regularly like a bunch of ladies at the beauty parlor gossiping and cackling with righteous indignation relating to the long known fact that PEDs are widely used in bike racing and most other big time pro sports and that those who use them deny that they do. (Except St. Greg. St Greg is absolutely immaculate.)

A similar number of people post semi regularly and join in the hen house but with somewhat less vigor than the regulars. Other people post occasionally poking fun at the clinic which most clinic faithful respond to with great derision and name calling.

Is the clinic anti (or pro) doping? I think it's neither, I think it's just entertainment. :D
