Is this a real race, or a gimmick criterium like the ones after the Tour de France? That's quite a startlist. Also, I like the name of team Boyaca.

It's a region and city in Colombia.

Ladino is from Boyacá Orgullo de América, I think, as opposed to their twins in Lotería de Boyacá.

Poor Samu, even in this he must place podium but no win.

3rd and 2nd Vuelta but no GT win.

3rd and 2nd in Lombardy but no monument win.

2nd in Morzine after geting cramp right before finish but no TDF stage win.

Misses Contador and Schleck by 6 seconds but no catch, hence has to itt 10km while all his rivals work together.

Breaks wrist for the 2 big days in the Tour so loses 3d place - no podium/

I hope his luck changes next year.

Vino on the other hand, i hope this form continues. Too much to ask for him to storm away from the pack in Copenhagen ala Champs 2005?

I think Samu had cramps during that stage, probably didn't drink enough.

I really hope Samu and Anton finally win a GT next year. Must be the guys that earn it the most in my opinion. Besides Contador haha.

Igor Anton and Samu should be put in the same Grand Tour though. They'd wreak some havoc then. Anton also seems like a very intelligent cyclist. Just needs to work on his bike handling skills a bit.

Nice to see Vinokourov out in front. If they had continued the course along calle 11 instead of turning right, they would have gone up a 12-15% 500 meter hill. That would have been something to see! Did that race about 25 years ago. At the bottom of the hill on the descent side, was a kid who was throwing water on us from a bucket. It hurt when it hit, but it shure felt good on a hot day.
