Aside from pocagar the most ridiculously doped rider I have ever seen, 3 years ago no results and he has now adapted so quickly to the pro level that he for 3 months straight has been at a peak level, dropping the best riders in the world who came from altitude training etc, making them all look amateurs, doing it so easily.
He was doing UCI races for 3 years as a junior and u23 and had not a single notable result. Now gianetti literally turned him into one of the highest level riders ever seen.
The evidence included in your post is what kills bike racing. And math skills and ability to use a calendar might be additional excellent references on your post.
Del Toro is part of a strange group, as you didn't point out, he is 21 years old and has been subjected to rule restrictions for WT riders who are U23 to all but be disqualified from U23 races.
As far as your description of Del Toro's race chronology it's all available for people to read.
Del Toro was funded by Monex in 2021, worked on housing, visas, and travel, almost no European based activity. Monex- Mexico house, race funding was primarily March thru July.
Your out of the blue negative spin is clearly false. Your post reflects maybe some limited knowledge of Mexican racing, Mexican funded teams and development teams. Del Toro's 2023 had him get 4 top tens in his first 6 races, and many of his results outside top spots were finishing in large groups.
Del Toro was racing excellent as he entered l'Avenier were he had a series of top 10s including a single stage win. His decent TT and consistency secured his GC win. Zero to do with UAE or anyone associated with the team, including Gianetti.
Another bit of irony, Del Toro was invited to ride with UAE for a few days before signing, surely some influence technique used to impress young prospects.
The first people that Del Toro met on his brief time with Team UAE were Marc Hirschi and Finn Fisher- Black.Who were both the subject of team transfers.
So if Isaac asked either how they like riding with UAE both probably said it's good, which in Del Toro's young mind.. Then why are they leaving?
And your timeline of Gainetti magic is also highly flawed. Del Toro was on a consistent track of improvement both his first and second years as a pro. His first year was outstanding, with 3 wins and a solid result at Vuelta. Again your description is flawed , Del Toro showing good form was selected for support not leadership in 2025. As a result of shared training rides, Pogacar had Del Toro help, not lead in Strade Bianchi ( 2024,25)and Juan Ayuso had Del Toro to work for Giro campaign.
Del Toro never selected as the designated leader in the races.
Ayuso crashed, Del Toro lingered, team thought short term and encouraged Del Toro to chase , he did, successfully.
Del Toro thrust accidentally into leadership role, completely random, no Gianetti calculation of any kind.
UAE demanded that young Del Toro stay on message, which he did semi effectively. Del Toro was unconvincing telling media that Ayuso was still team leader, despite Del Toro in superior position.
UAE took the unusual step to reinforce team message and unity by having team director with Del Toro at media after the races. Both men repeated that Juan Ayuso was the leader.
Juan had sucky post crash form, and Ayuso was attacked by bees and bad attitude and abandoned his Giro.
UAE went all in for Isaac who punched above his weight and defended the jersey and had some great individual efforts, and significantly was told by riders like Wout Van Aert, you are really good. Rafal Majka yelling at Del Toro, you belong here, you can do this. Majka saying something to the effect, I have been around and you are good enough to mix it up with any of these guys, but you have to ride and think that way.
Del Toro is still getting volume and in need of depth.. He has been effective inside 200k and unproven in races that are longer.
Any portrayal that Isaac is some pin cushion, needled up freak created by mad scientists from UAE is absurd.
And data is available.. Del Toro has done 2 grand tours in 2 years, didn't win either. All his results are from shorter races and media hype that he has arrived is BS.
Del Toro tried to trade blows with Pogacar a few times in last weeks, he was toasted in Kigali and couldn't keep pace when Tadej jumped in Tres Valli, Del Toro accepted tow truck ride as others tried to chase broken away Tadej,
Isaac
settled for 8th place
Any kind of out of nowhere is a cool narrative but Del Toro has been working hard for years. He will be world gravel champion in next 3 years..
It's a bizarre and all too common, too easy for people to yell doping. There are too many science fictions, like if you drink alcohol you will crash your car, fight everyone, lose your job..people do it and find out all the spooky scary science stories are false.
Same with many drugs like pot..folklore said if you do it you will go crazy, lose your mind, reefer madness, people do it..find out it's mostly science fiction not scientific fact.
.And self pleasure will cause you to go blind, we all know that's not true either. I add your accusations that Pogacar and Del Toro are gassed to the gills because you say so as just additional science fiction not science, not fact.
Calling Del Toro a doper is your right, go for it, but it's just more respectful to include some facts instead of feelings when accusing people of serious, serious crimes.
Wasn't l'Avenir after he'd already signed for UAE?
No
